This weekend is a great introduction to Camp Canyon. There is very little programming planned for this weekend camp, but there is plenty of time for fun. The host will set meal times and may lead a few activities, such as a short group hike, a craft, games, or a campfire. Our wonderful camp cook will prepare meals and snacks, and everyone will help with the cleanup. Families are welcome to leave camp during the day or stay and explore the area. Please note that 2 or 3 families may need to share a cabin, but this adds to the fun of the camp experience! Camp is all about making new friends and trying new things. We can’t wait to show you our new facilities. Note: There will be no meal on Friday night.
No kids, no problem! Individuals and couples are welcome to come to this camp as well.
Grand Re-Opening: July 4
Women's Retreat: Sep 11-13 $150/person
The Women’s Camp weekend is meant to be a relaxing weekend away, and so there will be very little programming. We will be pampered by the camp cook who will prepare all meals and snacks, and everyone will help with the light cleanup. The host may choose to lead a few activities such as a short group hike, a craft, games, or a campfire. This is a great weekend to get together with friends for a fun time away from technology and responsibilities. If you have a talent/hobby that you would like to share with the group (yoga, meditation, etc.), let us know. Please contact the registrar if you are attending with friends that you would like to share a cabin with.
Note: There will be no meal on Friday night.
Alumni Weekend: Sep 25-27 $150/person
Come back to Canyon Church Camp and reconnect—with yourself, old friends, and the beauty of Waterton. After years away, experience camp again in our newly rebuilt and renovated facility, where familiar traditions meet a fresh new space.
This is a relaxed, low-key weekend designed for adult CCC alumni (& their guests) to unplug, slow down, and rediscover what camp means to you and/or share your love of camp with others. Spend your time hiking, swimming, creating, playing games, or simply sitting around the campfire sharing stories and laughter. A few optional group activities may be offered, but the weekend is yours to shape—bring your ideas, your memories, and your camp spirit.
Enjoy great meals prepared for you, lend a hand in the dish pit, and settle back into the rhythms of camp life. Whether you’re reconnecting with old friends or making new ones, this is your chance to build meaningful connections and feel at home at camp again.
And yes—campfire songs are definitely encouraged!
